The wildebeest herd was suddenly surrounded by wild dogs as they attempted to attack it from all angles while it was roaming around in the meadow in search of nourishment.

Their goal is to target young antelopes with weak defenses. To achieve their goal, the wild dogs must overcome the outer barrier of strong antelopes.

However, the hunters not only failed to execute the attack strategy, but were also countered by the antelope. Even a wild dog in the herd had to taste the pain when a male antelope rushed to him and knocked unconscious on the spot.

Wildebeest, scientifically known as Connochaetes, is an animal that can only be found in Africa. They are herbivores living mostly in Kenya, with the rest distributed in Namibia and other countries.

Wildebeest often live in large herds, in many cases they even pair with zebra herds to create a strong community, thereby reducing the risk of being hunted by predators.

According to the statistics of zoologists, the success rate of survival from birth to adulthood of wildebeest is very low. The reason is because wildebeest is an important food source for animals such as lions, leopards, hyenas, crocodiles…

In reality, however, wildebeest is not an easily subdued opponent. Even large beasts like jaguars or lions have to work very hard to hunt down this large herbivore.
